45-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Collision near Elkins Lane
YUCCA VALLEY, CA (February 22, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Old Woman Springs Road killed Kevin Manuel Arrona, Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 12:18 p.m., just north of Elkins Lane. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
Furthermore, officers reported that a southbound GMC truck turned left in front of the motorcyclist on Old Woman Springs. As a result, the motorcycle slammed into the passenger side of the truck.
Eventually, first responders arrived and found Arrona lying unresponsive on the edge of the road. Despite the life-saving efforts of medical personnel, 45-year-old Arrona died at the scene.
Moreover, both directions of the roadway were closed for an undisclosed amount of time to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, Yucca Valley Officials continue to investigate the deadly collision.
