1 Dead after ATV Rolls Over near Sycamore Creek

FORT MCDOWELL, AZ (February 22, 2022) – Saturday night, one person was killed in an ATV rollover crash near Sycamore Creek.

The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

For reasons unknown, an ATV with two occupants flipped over in the area. Officers responded to the scene and immediately located the two injured victims.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the other occupant did not sustain injuries.

At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains unknown. The MCSO Vehicular Crimes Unit is still currently investigating the deadly ATV crash.

Further circumstances surrounding the fatal accident remain under active investigation.
