70-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision on Valpico Road

TRACY, CA (February 18, 2022) – Sunday, authorities pronounced a 70-year-old man dead after a pedestrian accident on Tracy Boulevard.

California Highway Patrol officers received reports of the collision on Tracy Boulevard and Valpico Road on Sunday, February 13.

According to officials, the events leading up to the crash remain unknown. However, crews pronounced the elderly male pedestrian dead at the scene.

In addition, crews closed off the northbound lanes for several hours during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

At this time, authorities have not released the identities of those involved.

Tracy police continue to investigate the fatal accident and will release updates once available.
