Man Dies in Pedestrian Collision on Irvington Road [Tucson, AZ]
Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on South Campbell Avenue
TUCSON, AZ (February 11, 2022) – A pedestrian collision on Irvington Road claimed the life of one person Monday morning.
The deadly crash happened on East Irvington Road and South Campbell Avenue around 6:00 a.m.
According to the police, the man was hit by a brown 2001 Ford F150 while he was walking outside of a marked crosswalk.
Upon impact, the driver remained and the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported the male pedestrian to a local hospital for further treatment. However, despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced the victim dead.
Moreover, reports indicate that no charges have been issued. At this time, the investigation is still currently underway.
