Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Beach Drive [Long Beach, CA]
Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Bellflower Boulevard
LONG BEACH, CA (February 3, 2022) – Early Friday evening, one man was fatally struck in a deadly pedestrian crash on Beach Drive.
According to the police, officers responded to the incident around 5:50 p.m., in the area of Bellflower Boulevard and Beach Drive.
Investigators later determined that a southbound 2002 Acura sedan struck a male pedestrian as he was crossing Bellflower outside a marked crosswalk. Afterwards, a 2005 Honda Pilot also struck the pedestrian.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and declared the man dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
