Julian Munoz Dead, Austin McClusky Arrested after DUI Collision on Summerhill Drive [Lake Elsinore, CA]

24-Year-Old Man Killed in DUI Accident near Corte Seriui

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (February 3, 2022) – Austin McClusky was arrested Monday, after a DUI crash on Summerhill Drive that killed Julian Munoz.

According to reports, the collision occurred around 10:30 p.m., near Corte Seriui. Upon arrival, officers located a car that had crashed into a light pole and overturned.

After extricating its occupants from the car, responders pronounced 24-year-old Munoz, of Murrieta dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, 23-year-old McClusky, of Escondido sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Police later arrested McClusky on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and two counts of DUI while causing injuries.

Reports also revealed that McClusky was driving at high speeds when he lost control of the car and crashed into the cement light pole.
