Uber Passenger Killed in DUI Collision on Lincoln Way
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 3, 2022) – A deadly hit-and-run accident on 46th Avenue claimed the life of Uber passenger, Barry McGrath.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 7:34 p.m., near the intersection of 46th Avenue and Lincoln Way.
The deadly crash involved a red-orange Honda SUV operating as an Uber, and a black Audi SUV. The events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, medics pronounced 38-year-old McGrath, of San Francisco dead at the scene.
In addition, the Audi driver fled the scene before officials arrived.
The driver of the vehicle transporting McGrath remained at the hospital in a stable condition. Per reports, the Audi had been reported stolen in San Francisco on January 12.
At this time, San Francisco Officials are still currently working to identify the hit-and-run driver.
