26-Year-Old Driver Charged after DUI Accident near Mooney Boulevard
VISALIA, CA (January 28, 2022) – 26-year-old Primitivo Gonzalez sustained serious injuries Monday after a suspected DUI crash on Highway 198.
The incident took place just after midnight in the area of Highway 198, near Mooney Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Gonzalez swerved across the highway and eventually crashed into a dirt embankment.
As per investigators, Gonzalez was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained serious injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported him to Kaweah Health Medical Center for further treatment.
Additionally, California Highway Patrol officers stated that he will face DUI charges. Meanwhile, authorities are currently urging anybody with information to contact authorities as soon as possible.
