Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision on Osborn Road
PHOENIX, AZ (January 20, 2022) – Sunday night, 42-year-old Edward McHale was killed in a pedestrian accident on 44th Street.
The crash took place near the intersection of 44th Street and Osborn Road around 8:00 p.m.
Per reports, McHale was seen crossing the street against a stop sign when he was hit by a passing vehicle.
Paramedics arrived and rushed McHale to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene for investigation and exhibited no signs of impairment. Their identity has not been released at this time as well.
Further circumstances surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident still remain under active investigation.
