Woman Killed in DUI Crash on State Route 78 [Ramona, CA]
DUI Crash on State Route 78 Left One Female Driver Killed
RAMONA, CA (January 14, 2022) – A DUI crash on State Route 78 claimed the life of one woman early Friday morning.
According to the investigators, the woman lost control of the Saturn SC2 while heading east of State Route 78 at around 2:00 a.m.
As a result, the Saturn veered off the south side of the road, went into a dirt ravine before hitting a barbed-wire fence.
The Saturn then flipped over and ejected the woman who later died at the scene due to the extent of her injuries. At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains unavailable, pending notification from the next of kin.
Ramona Officials are still currently investigating the solo DUI collision.
