31-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after DUI Collision near Alexander Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 14, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, 31-year-old Fabian Goint, was killed in a DUI collision on Commerce Road.

The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m., on Commerce Road near Alexander Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per police reports, Goint was driving a Dodge Dakota at a high rate of speed, heading south on Commerce approaching Alexander Road. There, Goint struck a parked Toyota SUV vehicle.

Paramedics responded and transported Goint to UMC Hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital due to the extent of his condition.

Moreover, investigators say Goint was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

Following preliminary investigations, both speed and alcohol impairment were believed to be factors in the crash. Although, no further details have been provided.

At this time, an active investigation to determine more information is still currently underway.
