1 Killed in Two-Car Collision on Adobe Road [Bakersfield, CA]
Fatal Multi-Car Rollover Accident near Highway 99
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 13, 2021) – A two-car collision on Adobe Road claimed the life of one person, Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 3:45 p.m., near Adobe and David Road, just east of Highway 99. Emergency crews arrived to the scene shortly after.
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision involved a brown Toyota Tundra and a white Ford pickup-truck. Although, the events leading up remain unclear.
Per reports, responding officers and rescue personnel extricated one person stuck inside the Ford that had flipped over.
Meanwhile, officials closed the eastbound lanes of David Road before they were reopened shortly after the investigation.
Authorities have not published the identity of the deceased victim at this time. However, an active investigation is underway.
