Motorcycle Collision on Olive Avenue Left One Fatality
LONG BEACH, CA (January 13, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Broadway Avenue claimed the life of one person early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the incident around 2:13 a.m. at the area of Broadway and Olive Avenue.
According to responding authorities, the crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV that resulted in one fatality.
Furthermore upon arrival, the officers located the unconscious male victim with serious injuries.
Eventually, the Long Beach Fire Department arrived and transported the man to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Later on, investigators claimed that the motorcyclist rear-ended another vehicle while traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed on Broadway.
Meanwhile, the occupants inside the other involved vehicle remained uninjured and cooperated with the investigation.
At this time, the identity of the deceased motorcyclist remains unavailable, pending notification of next of kin.
