Traffic Crash on Mariposa Street Left Woman Seriously Injured
VICTORVILLE, CA (January 10, 2022) – A woman is recovering in a local hospital after a deadly crash on Mariposa Street Thursday night.
The incident happened around 5:40 p.m. near the S-Curve of Eucalyptus Street.
According to the police, the collision involved a 2004 GMC Yukon and a 2021 Black Hyundai Elantra.
In addition, authorities pointed out that both vehicles sustained severe damage.
Eventually, the Victorville Fire Department arrived at the scene and discovered two victims.
Furthermore, one person was suffering from serious injuries and one from moderate injuries.
Afterwards, officials requested a medical helicopter at the scene but failed due to poor visibility and rain.
