Vehicle Crash on Glassford Hill Road Left One Dead, One Hurt

PRESCOTT, AZ (January 10, 2022) – An Army veteran, Samuel Robles died in a vehicle crash on Glassford Hill Road Saturday night.

According to the investigation, the crash occurred at about 11:40 p.m., on Glassford Hill Road.

Furthermore, the 38-year-old veteran, Robles, was walking on the road when hit by a vehicle.

Consequently, the vehicle crashed into a median after hitting Robles. The driver’s passenger then tried to help the veteran but was struck by another car.

Due to the impact of the collision, Robles died at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported an injured woman to a local hospital, who is now in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, both drivers showed no impairment.

However, Robles has been a decorated 1SG in the United States Army Rangers with ten deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in his career. He recently left the Army and moved to Prescott Valley. Robles left behind a wife and two young kids.

At this time, an active investigation is underway.
