One Killed in Head-On Crash on US 60 [Wickenburg, AZ]

Vehicle Crash on US 60 near Milepost 116 Left One Fatality

WICKENBURG, AZ (January 10, 2022) – Last Friday, a head-on crash on US 60 claimed the life of one motorist.

According to the DPS, they received a report about the crash around 11 a.m. along US 60 near milepost 116.

Immediately, paramedics responded on the scene.

Furthermore, according to the investigation of the authorities, the car crossed over into an opposed lane of traffic while heading along US 60.

Eventually, the vehicle collided with oncoming traffic.

Meanwhile, passengers from the other vehicle obtain unspecified injuries.

A section near Wickenburg remained closed for a couple of hours and reopened once the scene was cleared.

The crash is still under active investigation.
