Hit-and-Run Crash on Imola Avenue Left One Hospitalized
NAPA VALLEY, CA (January 5, 2022) – Monday morning, an 11-year-old sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Imola Avenue.
Around 7:35 a.m., an accident occurred at the intersection of Imola Avenue, Freeway Drive, and Golden Gate Drive.
Furthermore, the California Highway Patrol officers reported that the driver of a westbound Toyota Prius struck a boy who was crossing the street.
Upon impact, the driver did not render aid to the victim and continued driving.
Paramedics then arrived to the scene and rushed the male victim to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with moderate injuries. Authorities withheld the name of the victim.
At this time, police said no arrest was made. However, California Highway Patrol continue to investigate the hit-and-run crash on Imola Avenue.
