Crash on Route 123 Left Two Pedestrians Dead

SAN MARCOS, CA (January 4, 2022) – A pedestrian crash on Route 123 left Tomica Dorsey and Keenan Benton killed early Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 2:47 a.m., at the 23000 block of Route 123, south of Wonder World Drive intersection.

Eventually, officers arrived and declared 37-year-old Tomica Dorsey and 33-year-old Keenan Benton dead at the scene.

Later on, investigators determined that both victims stood in the inner lane of the road when the collision occurred.

At this time, San Marcos Officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash.
