Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Crash on Grant Road
TUCSON, AZ (January 5, 2022) – On Tuesday, the Tucson Police Department started investigating a chase that ended in a crash on Grant Road.
According to reports, officers attempted to pull over a vehicle near the junction of Grant Road and Fairview Avenue at around 1 p.m.
Furthermore, a police pursuit began on Fairview Avenue and concluded shortly later near East Grant Road and North Highland Avenue, according to the department.
Shortly after a TPD K9 caught the offender, a man in his 30s fled from the car.
According to police, the suspect suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
