Fiery Rollover Crash on Interstate 15 Left Woman Killed
HALLORAN SPRINGS, CA (January 4, 2022) – A rollover crash on Interstate 15 claimed the life of Linh Thuy Nguyen on Christmas day.
The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m., along the northbound Interstate 15, north of Halloran Summit Road.
According to the CHP, a 42-year-old male in a 2000 Lexus ES300 was traveling along the highway at an unknown rate of speed.
Afterwards, the driver allowed the vehicle to veer to its right, traversing the right shoulder and entering the open desert terrain. However, the vehicle overturned and caught on fire.
A passing motorist stopped at the scene and removed the male driver and located the female passenger on the ground next to the Lexus.
The female passenger, identified as Linh Thuy Nguyen, died at the scene around 12:40 in the morning.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada for treatment of major injuries.
Halloran Springs and CHP officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the Interstate 15 crash.
