Officer Hospitalized after DUI Accident on Shaw Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (December 30, 2021) – Police arrested Valentin Uribe following a DUI collision on El Capitan Avenue, Thursday night.
According to reports, the incident happened shortly before 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of Shaw and El Capitan Avenue.
Police say Uribe rear-ended a stopped police vehicle, that was blocking a southbound lane on Shaw Avenue due to a pothole.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene and transported the officer to Community Regional Medical Center after complaining of injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested 32-year-old Valentin Uribe, for suspicion of driving under the influence with a suspended license.
At this time, Fresno Officials are still currently investigating the DUI crash.
