Two-Vehicle Crash on Baseline Avenue Left One Dead, Five Injured
FONTANA, CA (December 30, 2021) – A crash on Baseline Avenue left 55-year-old Mariesha Collins dead and five others injured Friday evening.
The incident happened around 9:07 p.m. on December 10th, along Baseline Avenue and San Sevaine Road.
As per reports, a blue Infiniti Q50 was traveling west at a high speed crashed into a gray Volkswagen Jetta on northbound San Sevaine.
Furthermore, officers responding declared the Volkswagen driver, Collins, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, medics rushed 5 occupants of the Infiniti to a nearby hospital for treatment.
At this time, authorities are unsure as to what caused the impact, however, an active investigation is underway.
Fontana police did not release any additional information at this time but will release updates once available.
