Dustin Blakesly Arrested, 2 Hurt after Pursuit Crash on Gobbi Street [Ukiah, CA]
Driver and Passenger Injured in Collision near Main Street
UKIAH, CA (December 28, 2021) – Police arrested Dustin Blakesly after a crash on Gobbi Street that injured two people early Sunday morning.
According to reports, officers arrested Blakesly around 12:25 a.m., in the area of Gobbi and Main Street.
Initially, the suspect fled when Mendocino County sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull him over for a traffic violation. Afterward, Blakesly drove south on Highway 101 while being chased by CHP officers near Highway 175.
Ultimately, the suspect collided with a vehicle coming out of a Safeway parking lot in Gobbi. Two occupants inside the vehicle that was hit suffered moderate injuries.
Ukiah Officials later arrested 31-year-old Dustin Blakesly after trying to run from the scene. He is suspected of evading officers and driving under the influence of alcohol.
