1 Injured in Traffic Collision on Estrella Avenue [San Diego, CA]
Traffic Crash on Estrella Avenue Left 45-Year Old Driver Seriously Injured
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 28, 2021) – On Sunday afternoon, a 45-year old man sustained injuries in a traffic collision on Estrella Avenue.
According to reports, the collision happened in Kensington, 4200 block of Estrella Avenue.
San Diego Police Department said the man was driving southbound at 12:29 p.m. in a black Toyota Prius. Afterward, he allegedly drove through a stop sign at the intersection in Orange Avenue.
Consequently, a 45-year-old woman driving a black Toyota Highlander was eastbound on Orange Avenue when her vehicle was struck by the Prius in the intersection.
Furthermore, paramedics transported the man to a local hospital with a fractured right femur. Meanwhile, the woman remained unharmed.
At this time, authorities are yet to disclose the identities of those involved in the collision.
