Pedestrian Crash on Weedpatch Highway North of Farmers Lane Left One Fatality
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 27, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Weedpatch Highway claimed the life of Victor Lopez Jr. Saturday evening.
According to the CHP, the incident occurred just after 6 p.m. just north of Farmers Lanes. Paramedics also immediately responded to the pedestrian crash.
Eventually, medical personnel pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
Furthermore, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased pedestrian as 44-year-old Victor Lopez Jr. of Bakersfield.
At this time, Bakersfield officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
