Hit-And-Run on G Street near 25th Street Left One Injured
MERCED, CA (December 23, 2021) – Authorities arrested Russell Garcia after a DUI multi-vehicle crash on G Street, Friday night.
Police responded to a reported collision on G Street, near 25th Street after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.
According to reports, three vehicles were involved in the collision. Additionally, at least one person was found suffering from minor injuries.
Shortly after, officers located the suspect’s front license plate at the scene along with a huge oil trail, which they used to track the car’s whereabouts. The evidence led them to 51-year-old Garcia’s home.
Eventually, police conducted a field sobriety test on Garcia and detected signs of intoxication, leading to his arrest.
