Pedestrian Crash near the University of Arizona Left One Fatality

TUCSON, AZ (December 23, 2021) – A pedestrian crash near the University of Arizona claimed the life of Do Bao Nguyen Doan Wednesday evening.

According to police, a vehicle traveling near the University of Arizona hit the male victim. Investigations show that the man was standing in the multi-purpose center lane of Euclid Avenue.

Consequently, a southbound vehicle that entered the lane to make a left turn onto Adams Street struck him.

Moreover, police said mid-block crossing by Doan was the major contributing factor in the collision.

Furthermore, according to Tucson police, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
