Nancy Palacios Killed in Vehicle Crash on Taussig Avenue [Wasco, CA]

Palm Avenue Crash Left One Wasco Resident Dead

WASCO, CA (December 22, 2021) – A vehicle crash crash on Taussig Avenue claimed the life of Nancy Palacios early Tuesday morning.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) said that at 5:50 a.m., Palacios, 26, was driving north on Palm Avenue south of Taussig Avenue approaching a pickup-truck traveling southbound.

Furthermore, CHP said Palacios, the driver of the sedan veered onto the right shoulder.

Afterwards, they over-corrected to the left and rotated into the southbound lane directly in front of the pickup truck driven by Cale Austin Rogers.

Rogers failed to stop in time and eventually crashed on the right side of the sedan.

The driver of the sedan died at the scene.

At the time of the crash, CHP said the roadway was wet with heavy rain in the area. Meanwhile, authorities did not consider alcohol and drugs as factors of the crash.
