Pedestrian Crash on El Rancho Drive Left One Woman Dead
SPARKS, NV (December 22, 2021) – On Saturday, a hit-and-run crash on El Rancho Drive claimed the life of Christy Valdez.
According to authorities, the 57-year-old woman died at G Street and El Rancho Drive.
Moreover, another man sustained injuries.
Officer said a car was traveling west on G Street through the intersection of El Rancho Drive on a green signal when it hit two pedestrians in the crossing.
Furthermore, Sparks Police said they have located the vehicle they believe was involved in the hit-and-run that killed one Reno woman.
Meanwhile, the vehicle and its owner have been cleared in the investigation. A new photo of the suspect vehicle has been provided by the Sparks Police Department.
According to investigators, the vehicle involved in the collision suffered severe front-end damage. Police are asking anyone with information on the driver or vehicle to contact them at 775-353-2231.
