Multi-Vehicle Crash on Johnson Road Left Three People Injured
PHELAN, CA (December 8, 2021) — Paramedics airlifted two people following a multi-vehicle crash on Johnson Road Tuesday afternoon.
Officers said the incident happened at about 2:34 p.m. Furthermore, the crash involved a white Ford F-250, a black Nissan Altima, and a silver Jeep Renegade.
According to authorities, the crash injured a total of three people. Due to the condition of the patients, emergency personnel requested two helicopters to airlift two of the injured victims to trauma hospitals.
Meanwhile, authorities described the driver of the black sedan as a male in his late 20’s. Initially, paramedics found the driver of the sedan unconscious. Firefighters took approximately 25 minutes to extract him from the upside-down vehicle.
Authorities closed Johnson Road in both directions to pave way for the investigation. Meanwhile, tow company employees worked to clear the roadway.
