1 Hospitalized after Road Rage Accident on Interstate 405

BELLEVUE, WA (December 8, 2021) – An unidentified man sustained injuries last Friday after a road rage accident on Interstate 405.

The incident took place along I-405 near the 112th Avenue on-ramp.

Police said it all started with a road rage incident. The victim was driving a white work truck, and the hit-and-run motorist was driving a red Lexus.

Per reports, both vehicles came to a stop at the on-ramp; the truck driver got out, took a four-foot level from his truck bed, walked over to the Lexus and hit the hood with it.

The Lexus driver attempted to flee, and in doing so, WSP claims he collided with the truck driver, knocking him unconscious.

Officials responded at the scene and located a man unconscious on the ground. Medics then transported the man to a local hospital for treatment.

WSP eventually were able to find and speak with the Lexus driver. However, an active investigation is still ongoing.
