9 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision along I-10 [Goodyear, AZ]
I-10 Multi-Vehicle Collision Injured at Least 9 and Caused Road Closures
GOODYEAR, AZ (December 1, 2021) – A multi-vehicle collision on I-10 in West Valley injured nine people last Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m., when at least seven vehicles were involved in a pile-up causing the eastbound lanes to shutdown.
Upon arrival, officers discovered at least 9 people who sustained injuries, 4 of whom required hospitalization. Eventually, emergency crews arrived to start clearing the roadway for cleanup and preliminary duties.
Meanwhile, the extent of all injuries is also unknown. Goodyear officials are currently investigating the multi-vehicle collision to determine more information.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding crash remain unclear.
