65-Year-Old Man Dead, 2 Hospitalized after Wrong-Way Crash on West Northern Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (November 30, 2021) – Sunday morning, 65-year-old Hajric Mirsad was killed in a 3-car accident on North 35th Avenue.
Around 10:30 a.m., officers received reports of a serious collision in the area of 35th and Northern Avenue. Per reports, three vehicles collided.
Authorities say the driver of a sedan was heading west when they crossed the center median and struck an eastbound minivan. Shortly after, a third sedan struck the rear of the minivan.
Paramedics responded and eventually transported two men to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Although, police have not yet released their identities.
Investigators later identified the minivan driver as 65-year-old Hajric Mirsad. Medics later pronounced him dead, due to the extent of his condition.
At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. Once available, further details regarding the deadly collision will be provided.
