Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA (November 18, 2021) – Saturday night, Paul Sigler was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on 10th Street.

The accident happened around 8:05 p.m., at the intersection near Pico Boulevard. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, the driver of a white Dodge Challenger with red racing stripes on its hood struck the victim and fled the scene. The pedestrian was then hit by a second vehicle.

The second driver who struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Meanwhile, medics pronounced 58-year-old Paul Sigler dead at the scene, due to the extent of his condition.

At this time, no further information has been released. Although, an active investigation remains ongoing.
