Motorcycle Accident on Highway 41 Left One Rider Injured

FRESNO, CA (November 16, 2021) – A rider sustained injuries in a vehicle and motorcycle accident on Highway 41 Tuesday night.

The accident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. of November 9 on southbound Highway 41 near Bullard Avenue.

According to officers, an SUV collided with the motorcycle near the highway on-ramp, causing the SUV to flip.

Paramedics transported the rider, who authorities believe is in his 60s, to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, responding police caught up to the SUV driver who attempted to flee the scene.

According to authorities, he is a man in his mid-20s. The CHP officers detained him for DUI and hit-and-run, and he also received minor injuries.

Clovis police continues to investigate the cause of the crash on Highway 41.
