Truck Collision on State Route 94 Left One Injured
LEMON GROVE, CA (November 15, 2021) – An unnamed driver suffered injuries following a truck collision on eastbound State Route 94.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. on November 8 in the area of southbound State Route 94 near College Avenue.
According to reports, a delivery truck driver, traveling on the road, felt an impact from his vehicle and thought of it as a flat tire but later on found out a small vehicle crashed into his truck.
Responding crews used the Jaw of Life to rescue the driver and the car that wedged under the truck. Medics then rushed the driver to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of head injuries.
At this time, authorities still do not have update about the current condition of the driver, however, officials will release information once available.
An active investigation is still continuing at this moment.
