Head-On Collision on Whipple Road Left Two Fatalities
UNION, CA (November 10, 2021) – Two people died last Sunday after a head-on collision on Whipple Road west of Central Avenue.
Shortly before 5:45 p.m., responders found a red Acura TL and a dark-colored Honda Pilot with significant damage.
Preliminary information suggested the Acura was driving eastbound when it struck the westbound Honda head-on.
The Acura’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda’s driver was taken to a hospital, where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
The two adults’ identities remain withheld pending next-of-kin notification, police said.
Lanes were closed due to the incident.
