One Killed, One Injured in Hit-And-Run on Avalon Boulevard [Florence, CA]
Hit-And-Run on Avalon Boulevard Left Two Casualties
FLORENCE, CA (November 10, 2021) – A hit-and-run on Avalon Boulevard left one person killed and another injured.
The fatal incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. when an eastbound vehicle on Manchester Avenue made a northbound turn into Avalon Boulevard.
Afterwards, the suspect’s vehicle struck another car going west on Manchester.
As a result, one of the vehicles rotated counterclockwise and collided with two pedestrians standing on the northwest corner.
According to the LAPD, one of the victims sustained minor injuries and the other suffered from blunt force trauma.
Tragically, one of the patients succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
At this time, Florence officials are working to identify the hit-and-run suspect.
