Motorcycle Crash on Balboa Avenue Left One Fatality

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 8, 2021) – Police are investigating a motorcycle crash on Balboa Avenue that claimed the life of one person.

The fatal incident occurred just before 4 p.m., Friday at the 5900 block of Balboa Avenue, according to the authorities.

Unfortunately, first responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Later on, investigators determined that a 64-year-old female driver of a Chevy Malibu made a left turn into a shopping center.

However, the 26-year-old man on a Yamaha R6 motorcycle struck the Malibu in the passenger side front door.

The female Chevy driver remained uninjured.

At this time, San Diego Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the motorcycle crash.
