One Killed, Multiple Injured in Car Accident on 91 Freeway [Corona, CA]

1 Dead after Fatal Rollover Collision near Interstate 15 in Corona

CORONA, CA (November 5, 2021) – Friday evening, one person was killed and multiple were injured in a car accident on the 91 Freeway.

Around 4:30 p.m., officers received dispatch calls on the eastbound lanes of the freeway, near Interstate 15. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

For reasons unknown, a driver veered off the road and lost control of the car. As a result, the vehicle rolled over multiple times and struck a light pole before coming to rest on Cresta Road.

One person was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The injured parties were said to be suffering from serious wounds.

Meanwhile, the passengers inside the SUV suffered from unspecified injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.
