One Killed in Head-On Crash on Old River Road [Bonsall, CA]
Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on Old River Road
BONSALL, CA (November 4, 2021) – A deadly head-on crash on Old River Road in Bonsall claimed the life of one person late Friday morning.
The incident happened around 11:45 a.m., at the 31500 block of Old River Road, according to the CHP. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.
Upon further investigation, police determined that a westbound Honda Civic and an eastbound Ford F-350 collided head-on for unknown reasons.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, first responders pronounced the 58-year-old Civic driver dead at the scene. Although, their identity has not yet been released.
As a result, Bonsall Officials closed down both westbound and eastbound lanes of Old River road to investigate the head-on crash.
Officials are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact California Highway Patrol at 760-643-3400.
