Train Accident Struck and Killed One Woman near Figueroa Street
VENTURA, CA (November 1, 2021) – A deadly train accident on Figueroa Street involving a pedestrian resulted in a fatality last Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 5:03 p.m. along the train tracks at Figueroa Street.
According to Amtrak, an Amtrak Train 77 struck the victim on the train tracks in the area.
Afterwards, the train immediately stopped while the authorities arrived at the scene to investigate.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the train incident and the identity of the deceased victim remains unclear.
No other injuries were reported from the crash.
