Road Closed after Big Rig Accident on Highway 59
MERCED, CA (November, 2021) – A big rig accident on Highway 59 prompted road closure in both lanes, Monday morning in Merced.
The California Highway Patrol responded after receiving reports of a collision along Dickerson Ferry Road and Sandy Mush Road on Highway 59.
Officers and emergency personnel on the scene cleaned up the the debris from the wrecked semi-truck. Although the cause of the collision was not immediately clear.
At this time, authorities have not released how many people sustained injuries from the crash.
