Brett Navarrete Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Valencia Road [Tucson, AZ]
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Camino De La Tierra in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ (October 29, 2021) – Early Wednesday morning, Brett Navarrete was killed in a pedestrian crash on Valencia Road.
Deputies responded to the scene around 3:00 a.m., at the intersection of Valencia Road and Camino de la Tierra.
According to reports, the driver of a pick-up truck struck the Navarrete while heading east on Valencia Road. Due to the impact, he suffered life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics responded and took 34-year-old Navarrete to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Pima County Sheriff Department’s investigation say Navarrete was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash. In addition, deputies say speed and impairment were not factors in the crash.
