Man Arrested after DUI Collision on Monterey Street [San Luis Obispo, CA]
One Injured in Auto Accident near Chevron Station in San Luis Obispo
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (October 28, 2021) – Authorities arrested one man Monday night after a deadly DUI collision on Monterey Street.
The incident took place near the Chevron station on Monterey Street around 9:42 p.m., on October 18.
According to reports, the driver attempted to turn but ended up striking a dumpster and a chain link fence behind the gas station.
Shortly after, officers arrived located the vehicle stopped in the chain fence. Following preliminary duties, police arrested the driver for driving under the influence.
In addition, responding crews treated another passenger with a hand injury.
At this time, CHP are still conducting an active investigation into the crash; more information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
