REDDING, CA (October 28, 2021)  A single-car collision on Interstate 10 near Banning injured two individuals last Saturday.

The collision occurred at noon on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 near Ramsey Street.

According to the CHP, a car went off the road near the train tracks for unknown reasons.

Rescue workers had to extricate one person from the wreckage. Then paramedics took the victim and a second person to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, police have not said if speed or intoxication were factors in the crash. However, the collision is still under active investigation.
