Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries after Collision near El Norte Parkway

ESCONDIDO, CA (October 27, 2021) – A motorcycle rider sustained injuries in a traffic accident on Interstate 15 early Friday morning.

The collision occurred on the highway near El Norte Parkway about 2:37 a.m. Officers responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

Officers said the events leading up to the collision are still unknown. However, an Escondido Police Patrol unit discovered a motorcycle and its rider in the left lane of the freeway.

The rider’s status was not disclosed, although the CHP classified it as a major injury.
