Motorist Rider Killed in Collision near Sunrise Drive in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (October 14, 2021) – Early Sunday evening, a motorcyclist was found dead after an accident on Elder Creek Road.
Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly before 5:45 p.m. Per reports, the motorist was found laying on the ground on the 7400 block of Elder Creek Road.
At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, the biker, who was only identified as an adult man, died at the scene from his injuries.
The surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although the road has since reopened to traffic.
Further circumstances surrounding the deadly crash will be released once available. An active investigation into the accident on Elder Creek Road is still underway.
