Jacorey Odu Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on Atlantic Boulevard [Monterey Park, CA]
Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Atlantic Boulevard near 60 Freeway
MONTEREY PARK, CA (October 13, 2021) – Jacorey Odu died Sunday morning following a two-vehicle crash on Atlantic Boulevard near the 60 Freeway.
The collision occurred at 4:50 a.m. on the eastbound highway near Atlantic Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol said that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident, but the circumstances leading up to the crash are unknown.
Officers arrived on the site and discovered one individual dead. Officials identified the victim as Jacorey Odu, 32, from Austin, Texas.
Furthermore, at 5:06 a.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert, shutting all eastbound lanes at Atlantic Boulevard for at least one hour.
An active investigation is currently underway to determine the factors leading to and causing the fatal collision.
