Woman Arrested after DUI Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route 54 [Bonita, CA]
DUI Driver Charged after Four-Vehicle Collision in Bonita
BONITA, CA (October 1, 2021) – Authorities arrested a woman after a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 54 in Bonita last Tuesday.
The incident occurred on the westbound lanes of the highway around 1:00 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. Emergency crews responded to the area shortly after.
Upon arrival, officials discovered four vehicles at the scene. According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman was arrested after suspicion of driving under the influence.
In addition, officials also transported the woman to a hospital for minor injuries.
Eventually, Bonita Officials shut down State Route 54 for at least one hour while they investigated the crash. However, the road has since reopened.
